For Giving Tuesday this year,
we need your help
locally on one specific project *
and in the Caribbean, on another specific project!*
Locally in Tennessee
In Chattanooga, Tennessee, Mountain Creek is destroying the stream bank and is a dangerous place for kids at Red Bank Elementary School! The kids are investigating what THEY can do to solve the issue, but the 20 foot high drop off needs to be mended or it will completely erode all the way to the school’s road.
We are working with our friends at Komatsu to help remove the trees which are causing some of the issue and with engineers to work with us to stabilize the creek bank.
We need your help!
This school is committed to getting their kids out doors to learn and play and get healthy! Let’s help them by fixing this problem on their campus.
We estimate the cost will be around $5,000 using a variety of stabilization techniques. The students will be part of the entire process! Help the fifth grade engineers and scientists be problem solvers!
In the Caribbean
In the Caribbean, we are working in St. Lucia to clean up some of the springs our students found to be contaminated.
Stay tuned for more!
